An initial analysis identified the source of the interruptions, and this led to a three-stage project process. The first stage involved reducing the interruptions and stabilising the facility. Secondly, the production plant was improved to meet the budgeted capacity and finally, the operational costs were reduced by optimising and streamlining the production plant.
The project was conducted over a two-year period, partly at the dairy, and partly at DIS’ facilities and always in close cooperation with Arla.
